This product is made from SBS (styrene-butadiene-styrene) thermoplastic elastomer-modified bitumen as the impregnation and coating material, with high-strength polyester felt as the base fabric and fine sand as the separating layer. It is a high-grade, rollable sheet waterproofing material meticulously manufactured using advanced processes.

Length: For simply supported beams with a span of 20 m or less, the length of the roll material shall not be less than the beam length. For simply supported beams with a span of 20 m (exclusive) to 40 m, the roll material may be overlapped longitudinally once.
Label in the following order: base, top surface material, bottom surface material, and thickness.
Labeling Example: A polymer-modified bituminous waterproofing membrane with a polyester felt base and a 4.5 mm layer of fine sand on both sides is labeled as: PY S S 4.5
Hot-melt application method: A construction method in which a heating tool is used to melt the backing of the membrane, followed by bonding the membrane to the substrate or bonding one membrane to another.
Applying the Primer: Apply a polymer-modified bitumen primer to the substrate evenly, ensuring no bare spots remain and no buildup occurs. The membrane may be installed only after the primer has dried and is no longer tacky to the touch.
The overlap length of waterproofing membranes in both the longitudinal and transverse directions shall not be less than 100 mm. On the surface of the substrate that has been treated with a primer and allowed to dry, mark the dimensions of the overlap joints and establish reference lines for laying the membranes so that installation can proceed according to these reference lines.
Laying Roll Materials: On box-girder bridge decks, lay the materials transversely from low to high. Evenly heat the asphalt layer on the underside of the roll material and the primer on the subgrade; once the asphalt layer on the underside of the roll material has melted, roll it forward. During the hot-melt laying of the rolls, laying, rolling, and degassing should be performed simultaneously to ensure proper adhesion. The weight of the steel roller should not be less than 15 kg, and its diameter should preferably be 150 mm.

Culvert Membrane: Suitable for waterproofing culverts, tunnels, and the decks of concrete highway bridges.
