This product is a two-component waterproof coating composed of a polymer emulsion combined with inorganic powders such as cement-based materials, and features a “combination of rigidity and flexibility.” Specifically developed for roads and bridges, this polymer-cement-based waterproofing coating offers excellent heat resistance, adhesion, and shear strength. Once applied, it forms a high-strength, tough waterproof coating capable of withstanding long-term load movements on roads and bridges, preventing structural damage, rebar corrosion, and concrete carbonation caused by water infiltration, thereby extending the service life of these structures.

Product Features

  • Good heat resistance: The coating remains intact even at high temperatures of 160°C and can withstand the compaction of hot asphalt concrete during paving;
  • High Cold Resistance: The waterproofing layer can withstand structural deformation caused by heavy loads and shear forces from horizontal loads even at temperatures below -40°C;
  • High elasticity: The coating film has an elongation at break of 200% or higher, enabling it to withstand structural deformation;
  • Strong Adhesion: With exceptional penetrating power, it penetrates deeply into the concrete to form a highly adhesive, elastic coating on the substrate;
  • Environmental Friendliness: Water-based coatings are non-toxic, odorless, and do not pollute the environment, making them safe to apply;
  • Workability: Cold application; can be sprayed, brushed, or troweled; easy to apply.

Apply multiple coats of the waterproofing layer

 

◎The substrate surface must be solid and level. When leveling with cement mortar, it must be properly cured and must not exhibit any signs of crumbling, sanding, or peeling.

◎ Concrete surfaces must be roughened, planed, or shot-blasted.

Construction Procedures:

◎ After the substrate has been cleaned, key areas such as inside and outside corners, expansion joints, and construction joints should be reinforced.

◎ Apply a primer to the substrate to improve bond strength and shear strength. Once the primer is fully dry, proceed with the application of the waterproof coating.

◎ Measure out the materials according to the specified proportions. While stirring, slowly pour the powdered material into the liquid mixture and mix thoroughly until no lumps remain. Then apply the coating, ensuring that the thickness of each coat does not exceed 0.5 mm. Add a fiber-reinforced layer as required by the design specifications.

◎Before paving asphalt concrete, a separation layer can be created by spreading fine-grained asphalt mixture over the surface of the waterproofing membrane to prevent damage to the membrane.

  • Important Notes

◎ Stir the paint thoroughly before use. Use the mixed paint within 2 hours.

◎ The recommended application temperature is 5–35°C.

 

 

◎ The waterproofing layer must be completely dry before proceeding to the next step. Do not walk on the waterproofing layer or perform any other work while it is still wet.

  • Recommended Dosage

For a 1.0 mm-thick coating film, the total paint consumption is approximately 2.2–2.4 kg/m².

Applications

Suitable for anti-corrosion, anti-seepage, and waterproofing projects on bridges and highways.

Packaging, Storage, and Transportation

  • Packaging: Liquid: Packaged in plastic drums. Powder: Packaged in woven plastic bags.
  • Storage: Store in a sealed container in a dry, well-ventilated, cool place at temperatures between 5 and 40°C; the shelf life is at least 6 months from the date of manufacture.
  • Shipping: This product is not flammable or explosive and may be shipped as general cargo. During transport, protect it from rain, direct sunlight, and freezing temperatures; avoid crushing or impact; and ensure the packaging remains intact.
