QQC-070 Protection-Free Polymer Composite Waterproofing Membrane

  • Details

This product is a composite waterproofing membrane manufactured using high-performance resin as the reinforcing material, coated with a reactive self-adhesive, reinforced on the top surface with nonwoven fabric, and coated on the bottom surface with a silicone oil film.

  Structure

  1. Nonwoven Fabric
  2. Reactive Self-Adhesive Adhesive
  3. High-Performance Trees

Product Categories

Protection-free polymer composite waterproofing membranes are classified into high-strength (Class H) and high-elongation (Class E) types. This product is single-sided adhesive (S).

Width: 1000 mm; Nominal thickness: 1.5 mm, 2.0 mm; Nominal area: 15 m², 20 m². (Other specifications may be agreed upon by the supplier and the buyer.)

 Number Marker

Class H – High Strength; Class E – High Elongation; S – Single-sided adhesion.

Products are labeled in the following order: name, standard number, type, bonding surface, full thickness, and area.

Example: 15 m², 2.0 mm, high-strength grade, single-sided adhesive, protection-free polymer composite waterproofing membrane is labeled as:

Wet-laid Waterproofing Membrane GB/T 35467-2017-H S 2.0-15

  • The nonwoven fabric on the upper surface of the membrane protects the waterproofing layer. Once the membrane is installed, no protective layer is required, and rebar can be tied directly to it, thereby shortening the construction schedule;
  • The high strength, high toughness, density, tensile strength, and tear resistance of the high-performance resin-based substrate enable it to withstand tearing and repeated fractures caused by structural settlement and cracking. Combined with the creep properties of the self-adhesive adhesive, this enhances the membrane’s waterproofing and moisture-proofing performance;
  • It has low foundation requirements, is easy to install, and is inexpensive overall, resulting in cost savings;
  • It is easy to apply and can be installed even in the absence of standing water. Waterproofing work can begin as soon as the subbase of the floor slab reaches the initial setting stage, eliminating any downtime during construction.

Construction Methods

  • Wet-Lay Installation Method: A construction method that uses cement slurry or cement mortar to bond self-adhesive membrane rolls, solving the challenge of installing membrane rolls on damp substrates.
  • Construction Process Flowchart

  • Requirements for Grassroots Units

The substrate must be level and firm; remove any protrusions from the substrate. If the substrate is dry, thoroughly wet it until it is saturated; construction may begin once there is no standing water.

  • Preparing Cement Slurry

Mix thoroughly in the mixing bucket using an electric mixer, maintaining a cement-to-water ratio of 1:0.3–0.5 by weight. When mixing, first pour the water into the bucket, then add the cement. Let it soak for 10–15 minutes, then pour off the excess water that has risen to the surface before beginning to mix. The resulting cement slurry must be uniform, with no sediment or lumps.

  • Installation Instructions

Roll the sheet from both ends toward the center. At the halfway point of the roll’s length, use a wallpaper knife to gently score the release liner from the center, taking care not to cut through the sheet. After positioning half of the roll, grasp the end of the peeled-back release film and pull it back evenly with steady force, unrolling and applying the material as you go. As you apply the material, be sure to roll it down firmly and remove any air bubbles. The roll must be laid tightly and adhere securely to the substrate. Use a roller to compact the overlapped sections.

Areas of Application

Suitable for waterproofing basement floor slabs and other waterproofing projects, such as roof slabs, in construction projects with tight schedules. It is particularly suitable for projects with tight deadlines and fast-paced schedules.

Packaging, Storage, and Transportation

  • Packaging: Sealed in special packaging.
  • Storage and Transportation: Products of different types and specifications should be stacked separately and not mixed. They should be protected from direct sunlight and rain. The storage temperature should not exceed 45°C. When stored horizontally, the stack height should not exceed three layers; when stored vertically, a single

Stack in layers. Prevent tilting or lateral pressure during transport; cover with a tarp if necessary. Under normal transport and storage conditions, the shelf life is 1 year from the date of manufacture.
