Product Categories

Based on composition, they are classified as homogeneous rolls, rolls with fiber backing, rolls with fabric reinforcement, rolls with glass fiber reinforcement, and rolls with glass fiber reinforcement and fiber backing.

Specifications and Dimensions

Thickness: 1.20 mm, 1.50 mm, 1.80 mm, 2.00 mm; Width: 1.0 m, 2.0 m, 3.0 m; Length: 15 m, 20 m, 25 m.

Code Marker

H—Homogeneous sheet; L—Sheet with fiber backing; P—Sheet with fabric reinforcement; G—Sheet with glass fiber reinforcement; GL—Sheet with glass fiber reinforcement and fiber backing. Mark in the following order: product name (code: PVC sheet), whether for exposed use, type, thickness, length, width, and this standard.

Example: A PVC waterproofing membrane with a length of 20 m, a width of 2.00 m, a thickness of 1.50 mm, and intended for exposed use (Class L) is labeled as:

Exposed PVC Roll Material L 1.50 mm/20 m × 2.00 m GB 12952-2011

  • High tensile strength, high elongation, and low thermal dimensional change;
  • Excellent resistance to weathering and UV exposure;
  • Excellent resistance to wind loads, mechanical damage, and root penetration;
  • Combining hot-air soldering with mechanical fastening ensures easy and quick installation;
  • Available in a variety of colors, with decorative features;
  • The wide width and long roll length provide a large surface area, reducing the risk of leaks at the seams;
  • With a long service life and excellent resistance to aging, these roofing materials can last up to 20 years, and underground applications can last as long as 50 years.

Construction Methods

Construction is typically carried out using adhesive bonding or mechanical fastening methods. Specialized prefabricated components are used to supplement detailed joints and complex areas.

Applications

Suitable for waterproofing and seepage prevention projects on roofs, underground structures, tunnels, subways, bridges, as well as landfills and artificial lakes.

Packaging, Storage, and Transportation

  • Packaging: Rolled material should be wound around a rigid core and packaged in plastic bags or woven bags.
  • Storage: Rolls should be stored in a well-ventilated area protected from direct sunlight and rain. The storage temperature should not exceed 45°C. Rolls of different types and specifications should be stacked separately. When stacked horizontally, the height should not exceed five layers; when stacked vertically, they should be stacked in a single layer. Contact with acids, alkalis, oils, and organic solvents is prohibited. Under normal storage conditions, the shelf life is at least one year.
  • Transportation: Prevent tilting or lateral pressure; cover with a tarp if necessary.
