This product is a self-adhesive polymer-modified asphalt waterproofing membrane formulated with a base of polymer-modified asphalt—composed of synthetic rubbers such as SBS and SBR, tackifying resins, and high-quality petroleum asphalt—with a polyester felt backing and a release liner on the surface.

Based on the top surface material, they are classified as polyethylene film (PE), fine sand (S), and double-sided self-adhesive without film (D).
Based on performance, they are classified as Type I and Type I-II; the 2.0 mm thick PY grade is available only in Type I.

Depending on the specific conditions of the project, either the pre-laid method or the dry-laid method may be used.
Key Points for the Pre-lay Method
◎The substrate should be level, firm, and free of standing water; all protrusions must be completely removed;
◎The facade is mechanically fastened at 500-mm intervals;
◎Before laying the membrane, apply a primer evenly to the substrate surface; once dry, lay the membrane promptly;
◎When installing the membrane, completely remove the release film from the underside of the membrane; ensure all air is completely removed from beneath the membrane, and roll it firmly to ensure a secure bond; the installed membrane should be flat and straight, with accurate lap dimensions, and must not be twisted. Hot air may be used to assist with installation at the overlaps; after heating with hot air, the membrane should be firmly adhered immediately.
Suitable for waterproofing applications in industrial and residential buildings, including roofs, basements, interiors, tunnels, subways, and municipal projects.
Suitable for waterproofing roofs with special structures, such as wooden roofs.
It is particularly suitable for waterproofing projects at oil depots, chemical plants, textile mills, and other facilities where open-flame work is not permitted.
