NWG223 Polyethylene-Polypropylene (Polyester) Composite Polymer Waterproofing Membrane

This product is a waterproof membrane primarily made from virgin polyethylene resin, combined with additives such as anti-aging agents, stabilizers, and adhesion promoters, and produced through a plasticization and extrusion process in which it is laminated in a single step with high-strength polyester nonwoven fabric.

Classified by material thickness:

Polypropylene thickness: 0.5 mm, 0.6 mm, 0.7 mm, 0.8 mm, 0.9 mm.

Polyester thickness: 1.0 mm, 1.2 mm.

Code Marker

FS2—resin-based composite sheet; PE—polyethylene.

Products are marked in the following order: type code, material (abbreviation or code), and dimensions (length × width × thickness).

Example: A composite polyethylene resin sheet with a length of 87 m, a width of 1.15 m, and a thickness of 0.6 mm is labeled as: FS2-PE-87 m × 1.15 mm × 0.6 mm.

Product Features

  • The base material and binder are eco-friendly, non-toxic, odorless, and non-polluting;
  • Excellent impermeability and low water vapor permeability;
  • It can be applied in damp conditions, has few requirements for the substrate, and helps speed up the construction schedule;
  • The rough polyester surface material enhances the bond strength between the roll material and the substrate;
  • Exceptional anti-aging properties and high corrosion resistance;
  • Excellent puncture resistance.

Construction Methods

  • The adhesive method involves using a specialized adhesive to bond the roll material directly to the substrate.

  • Key Construction Points:

◎If the substrate is dry, thoroughly wet it until it is saturated; construction may begin once there is no standing water;

◎ Keep the thickness of the bonding material at 1.3 mm;

◎ Strictly control the mixing ratio of the waterproofing adhesive;

Preparing Polymer-Cement Waterproofing Adhesive:

Option 1: Use cement, 801 adhesive, and water in the following weight ratios:

Cement: 801 Adhesive: Water = 3:1:1–2

Option 2: Use cement, M3 adhesive powder, and water in the following weight ratios

Cement : M3 adhesive powder : Water = 50:1:30–50

Applications

  • Suitable for roofing projects, underground construction, and bathroom and kitchen projects in building waterproofing systems;
  • Suitable for engineering waterproofing systems in tunnels, subways, bridges, and municipal projects;
  • Suitable for waterproofing projects in architectural landscaping and water features.

Packaging, Storage, and Transportation

  • Packaging: The sheets are rolled into cylinders and should be packaged in plastic bags or woven bags.
  • Storage and Transportation: During storage and transportation, care must be taken to prevent damage to the packaging. Store in a well-ventilated, dry place; stacking height should not exceed the height of five flat rolls of sheeting. When stacking, place the rolls on a dry, level surface, avoid direct sunlight, prevent contact with acids, alkalis, oils, and organic solvents, and keep them away from heat sources. The storage period should not exceed one year.
