NWT314 Water-Based Polyurethane Waterproof Coating

This product is formulated using a self-crosslinking acrylic emulsion as the base material, combined with specific amounts of modifiers, surfactants, additives, and pigments. The resulting coating film is tough and elastic, with strong adhesion; it forms a complete waterproofing system that combines rigidity and flexibility with the substrate, accommodates structural movement, and provides long-term waterproofing and impermeability.

Product Categories

They are classified into Type I and Type II based on their physical properties.

Product Features

  • It offers excellent low-temperature resistance, elasticity, elongation, water resistance, and crack resistance, as well as outstanding resistance to aging;
  • Exceptional adhesion; suitable for substrates such as masonry, concrete, glass, wood, metal, plaster, rubber, and mortar;
  • Non-toxic and harmless; safe and environmentally friendly;
  • Easy to apply, fast curing, high productivity, and short construction time;
  • It can be formulated into a colored protective coating to enhance the appearance of the surroundings.

Substrate Preparation: The substrate must be secure, level, and solid, free of sharp edges, loose dust, oil stains, and visible water marks. Inside and outside corners should be rounded using cement mortar or sealant. Cracks in the substrate and grooves around pipe roots should be filled with sealant.

Waterproof Coating: For a film thickness of 1.5–2.0 mm, apply the coating in 3–4 coats. Apply the next coat only after the previous one has dried (typically after 6–12 hours), and ensure that the application direction of each coat is perpendicular to that of the previous one.

  • Important Notes

◎ Do not perform construction work at temperatures below 0°C or in the rain; it is not recommended to perform construction work in extremely humid or poorly ventilated environments.

◎ After the coating has dried, take care to avoid exposure to direct sunlight and washing away by rain.

  • Recommended Dosage

For a 1.0 mm-thick coating film, the total paint consumption is approximately 1.8–2.0 kg/m².

 

 

Applications

Suitable for waterproofing and seepage prevention projects on roofs, basements, restrooms and bathrooms, bridges, and culverts of various types of buildings;

It is particularly suitable for waterproofing projects on flat roofs and buildings with irregular shapes.

Packaging, Storage, and Transportation

  • Packaging: Sealed in plastic drums.
  • Storage: Store in a cool, well-ventilated warehouse. Do not store outdoors under any circumstances, and do not place any items on top of the product. The temperature should not fall below 0°C. The shelf life is at least 6 months from the date of manufacture.
  • Transportation: Store upright; do not store upside down; protect from sunlight and rain; keep away from sources of fire; avoid impact and keep the packaging intact; handle with care during loading and unloading; do not throw.
