This product is a new type of waterproofing material with excellent elastoplastic properties, self-healing properties, adhesion, and resistance to aging. When used in combination with roll roofing membranes, it meets the construction requirements of various projects in different climatic conditions and offers application performance characteristics such as fatigue resistance, creep resistance, and water-blocking properties.
Non-curing rubber-asphalt waterproofing coatings are used in combination with compatible waterproofing membranes. They can be applied using either a trowel or a spray.
It is primarily suitable for areas that are easy to apply by trowel—such as underground floor slabs, vertical walls, and roofs—as well as at joints, for small-scale waterproofing projects, and for areas where spray application is not suitable.
Place the materials in the designated equipment and heat them until they reach approximately 150°C, at which point they are ready for use. At this temperature, the coating will have excellent flow and workability. During application, work in pairs: one person applies the coating with a trowel while the other lays the membrane.
It is primarily suitable for large-area waterproofing projects and areas where application by brushing is difficult.
Spraying work should be carried out in sections, and protective covering should be put in place beforehand. The working width of each section should exceed the width of the roll material by 300 mm. Adjust the distance and angle between the nozzle and the substrate, as well as the pressure of the spraying equipment, to ensure that the sprayed material forms a smooth, even surface with no exposed substrate and uniform thickness.
During application, spray multiple coats to achieve the design thickness. Alternate the spraying direction with each coat, and the overlap width between successive coats within the same layer should be 30–50 mm.
Immediately after spraying or troweling is complete, lay the membrane onto the surface of the applied waterproof coating, ensuring it is straight, flat, and free of wrinkles. The overlap width of the membrane is 100 mm. The overlaps are joined using a cold-bonding method: apply the non-curing rubberized asphalt waterproofing coating by troweling or spraying within the overlap width. No surface drying time is required; the membrane at the overlap can be applied immediately and rolled with a roller.
Suitable for subbases with significant unevenness and high stress, as well as areas where deformation is foreseeable or occurs frequently;
It is particularly suitable for projects where open-flame installation, mechanical installation, and cold-adhesive installation are not permitted;
It is primarily used for waterproofing and leak-sealing projects in underground structures, rooftops, subways, tunnels, culverts, roads, bridges, and similar locations.
