NW- General-Purpose Eco-Friendly Grouting Material is a polymeric leak-sealing material primarily composed of a prepolymer produced through the polymerization reaction of polyisocyanates and special polyether polyols, with the addition of eco-friendly diluents, surfactants, penetrants, and other components. Upon contact with water, this material reacts rapidly to form a tough, elastic, gel-like solid, thereby achieving the goal of “stopping water with water.” It represents a new generation of waterproofing, leak-sealing, and reinforcement materials. Applicable Standard: JC/T2041-2010 “Polyurethane Grouting Materials.”
- This acetone solvent does not contain low-flash-point or hazardous chemicals and is classified as an environmentally friendly product.
- Low shrinkage. Compared to acetone-based systems, this product’s diluent has a higher molecular weight and is less volatile, resulting in minimal shrinkage of the cured material.
- The cured material exhibits good elasticity and high strength. The use of a special polyether ensures that, after the slurry foams upon contact with water, it not only possesses the excellent elasticity of water-soluble polyurethane grout but also the high strength of oil-soluble polyurethane grout, making it suitable for both leak sealing and structural reinforcement.
- It is highly effective at stopping water inflows. When the slurry comes into contact with water, it reacts rapidly to form an impermeable, consolidated layer, making it suitable for sealing even intense water inflows.
- Single-component; easy to apply.
Applications
Waterproofing treatments for concrete expansion joints, cracks, and construction joints in industries such as water conservancy, hydropower, transportation, coal, and construction.
Waterproofing and reinforcement treatments for the foundations of various types of buildings.
